Re/new in the Smokies

Every spring over 500 Christian adults age 50+ come to the Smoky Mountains and Johnson University’s beautiful campus to experience a week of fun, fellowship, inspiration, and southern hospitality.

Re/new offers an array of on-campus activities that include humorous entertainment, in-depth Bible studies, educational workshops, uplifting worship, inspirational preaching, and delicious meals. The flexible schedule also provides ample time in the afternoons to take advantage of the numerous activities available in Gatlinburg, Pigeon Forge, and the surrounding area.

Blue Gate Dinner and Show

We will be taking an Eagles Wing Tour Bus at 10:30am to Shipshawanna's Blue Gate Restaurant and theater to see "The Rise and Fall of Miss Fanny's Biscuits." A mystery and comedy put on by Blue Gate's great actors. After the show we will head down to the buffet and enjoy some dinner and a lot of other goodies. Then we will have a little time to shop before we head back to the bus. We plan to arrive back at the Church at 7:00pm.

BC Reconnect

BC Reconnect | Train to Metamora

We will begin at 8:00am, traveling by Eagles Wings Bus to Connersville Grand Central Station. We'll then board the train to Metamora at 10:00am and arrive at approximately 11:30am. Then you are free to eat lunch, shop or whatever you want. Eagles Wings will pick us up at 3:00pm to head back to BCCC and we should end our excursion by 5:00pm. The cost of the trip is transportation only, so bring enough for shopping and lunch and maybe even an ice cream.

Miracle on 34th Street

BC Reconnect

Miracle on 34th Street

We will leave the Church at 4:15 PM for a reservation at The Boathouse Restaurant in Warsaw, IN. There we will order from the menu and each person will be responsible for the cost of their meal. Afterwards, we will make the short trip over to the Wagon Wheel Theater, where we will enjoy a professional production of Miracle On 34th Street. It is a two hour show and we should arrive home at approximately 10:00 PM. Tickets for the show are $30 each.
