Back to School Sunday
To All of Our Amazing School Employees,
We know the start of a new school year brings excitement, anticipation, and a lot of hard work. The impact you make every single day in the lives of students, families, and our community does not go unnoticed. We want you to know this: we appreciate you, we support you, and most importantly, we are praying for you.
That’s why we would love for you to join us for Back to School Sunday at Bachelor Creek on Sunday, August 9th!
It’s going to be a meaningful and fun morning as we take time to recognize and pray over all school employees and students heading into a new year. Whether you serve in the classroom, office, cafeteria, transportation, administration, maintenance, or support staff—you matter, and we want to celebrate you.
Here’s what you can look forward to:
A special time of encouragement and prayer
Lunch after both services
A small gift as our way of saying “thank you”
Raffle giveaways and gift baskets just for school employees
A chance to connect with others in our community
We’d love for you to wear your school colors and join us as we kick off the school year together!
Thank you for the countless ways you invest in students and families. We can’t wait to celebrate you on August 9th!

Not Too Old Conference
There's a moment a lot of people recognize — when you start thinking differently about time. Maybe it's your own health. Maybe it's a parent, grandparent, or older friend who needs more support than they used to. Maybe it's just a quiet awareness that the next chapter of life is closer than it used to be.
The Not Too Old Conference is a full day built for exactly that moment. Whether you're 50-something and starting to ask bigger questions, or you're in your 70s and looking for clarity and connection, this is a day designed to give you real help from real people — on everything from financial planning and health to grandparenting, legal questions, and what it looks like to keep living with purpose.
Dave Faust — Senior Associate Minister at E91, author of Not Too Old: Turning Your Later Years into Greater Years, and a minister with fifty years of experience — will anchor the day alongside featured speaker Bob Russell, who led Southeast Christian Church in Louisville for forty years and is the author of more than a dozen books. A lineup of healthcare professionals, financial advisors, attorneys, and community experts will lead practical workshops you can walk out of and actually use.
This is at East 91st Street Christian Church | Castleton Campus. Register HERE!

Charity Cup Golf Outing
Get ready to swing into action and make a difference at our Second Annual Charity Cup Golf Outing on August 30, 2026, at 2 PM at Rock Hollow Golf Club.
This is more than just a day on the greens — it’s an opportunity for our community to come together and care for neighbors facing real needs.
At the heart of the Charity Cup is a simple mission: to be FOR our neighbors.
Every day, local churches, nonprofits, and community organizations meet individuals and families who need help with things like food, housing, utilities, transportation, and other essential support. But meaningful care happens best when organizations work together instead of separately.
That’s where CharityTracker comes in.
CharityTracker is a shared community resource that helps participating organizations communicate, coordinate care, and better serve people in need. It helps prevent families from slipping through the cracks, reduces duplication of services, and allows organizations to respond with greater wisdom, compassion, and efficiency.
The funds raised through the Charity Cup help offset the cost of providing CharityTracker to local nonprofit and community partners so they can continue working together to serve our neighbors well.
When you participate in the Charity Cup, you are doing more than playing golf:
You are helping churches and nonprofits collaborate.
You are helping families receive better care.
You are investing in a stronger, healthier community.
You are helping us live out what it means to truly be FOR our neighbors.
Whether you are a seasoned golfer or just coming for fun, fellowship, and community impact, your participation makes a real difference.
Together, we can make sure no neighbor walks through hardship alone.
Thank you from all of us who use CharityTracker to serve our community!

Monday Evening Bible Study
Moving beyond facts to experience the fullness of God
Theology is a conversation about God. One that invites us to experience God in all His fullness rather than just memorizing facts about God. Theology is not some academic subject to only be pursued by professors and seminarians. Theology is the way we connect with our Redeemer. It's how we remember that we're His. And we will never have to be alone.
This seven-week Bible study by Lisa Harper, titled A Jesus-Shaped Life, is your invitation to explore the depths of God's character, God's love for you, and how your relationship with Him transforms you. Ultimately, you will experience how biblically sound theology deepens your relationship with God and each other.
This study is led by Nancy Jo Hammel. Max of 20 participants.
